Dallas Baptist University

Dallas Theological Seminary
Founded in 1924, Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) is dedicated to providing all believers with a solid biblical education and deep training in the Word of God. Located a few blocks from downtown Dallas, DTS offers a family friendly campus with easy access to all that North Texas has to offer.
Paul Quinn College
A faith-based, liberal-arts inspired college, Paul Quinn College (PQC) was founded in 1872 by African Methodist Episcopal Church preachers to educate freed slaves and their children. Today, as the first work college in Texas, PQC follows the “New Urban College Model” which enables students to graduate with less than $10,000 of student loan debt.
Southern Methodist University
With seven degree-granting schools and almost 12,000 students from all 50 states and 90 countries, Southern Methodist University (SMU) is located near the heart of Dallas. SMU’s relationship with Dallas enables its students to enjoy career opportunities that make a global impact.
Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
Located in Fort Worth, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (SWBTS) is one of the largest seminaries in the world. With the goal of “providing theological education for individuals engaging in Christian ministry”, SWBTS offers certificate programs, bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and doctoral degrees.
Texas A&M University Commerce
Part of the A&M University system, Texas A&M University Commerce is located about an hour drive from Dallas. In addition to their 100 undergraduate and graduate degree programs, they offer research and study abroad opportunities.
Texas Christian University
Founded in 1873 and located in Fort Worth, Texas Christian University (TCU) offers 117 undergraduate majors and 103 graduate areas of study. Home of the Horned Frogs, TCU has a 13:1 student to faculty ratio and a 91% freshman retention rate. It is also ranked #8 by The Princeton Review for the best schools for internships.
Texas Wesleyan University
Minutes from downtown Fort Worth, Texas Wesleyan University, adheres to the “Smaller. Smarter.” moto. Founded in 1890, Texas Wesleyan University has 2,619 students with an average class size of 16. It offers 31 undergraduate majors and five graduate programs.
Texas Woman’s University
With campuses in Denton, Dallas, Houston, and online and almost 15,000 students, Texas Woman’s University (TWU) is the nation’s largest university primarily for women. TWU offers a liberal arts-based curriculum and boasts more healthcare professional graduates than any other Texas university.
University of Dallas
A Catholic institution, the University of Dallas (UD) was founded in 1956 and welcomes students of all faiths. Located in Irving, UD offers bachelor’s master’s, doctoral and continuing education programs and has 1,300 undergraduate students and 1,200 graduate students.
University of North Texas
A tier one research university, the University of North Texas (UNT) is home to more than 39,000 students. Located in Denton, UNT is also building a 100-acre campus in Frisco.
University of Texas at Arlington
Located in the heart of Dallas Fort Worth, the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) is the second largest university in the University of Texas system. UTA offers over 180 bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs and educates more than 60,000 students at its campus and online each year.
University of Texas at Dallas
A rising research powerhouse, the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) is part of the University of Texas system. Located in Richardson, UTD has eight schools and 140 academic degree programs. It also received a #1 ranking from Forbes for being the best value public university in Texas.
